Lots Of Valuable Information

30 Hour Famine” - Feb. 26-27th - It’s our annual event to raise money for World Vision, an organization that helps to fight hunger around the world.  Students will be asked to raise at least $50 in order to participate.  Donation packets will be handed out in late January.  This event has done great things in the lives of many people around the world.  (7:00 Fri. night to 7:00 Sat. night)

"Spaghetti Dinner" – March 20th (4:00 – 7:00) – This annual dinner is always a neat opportunity for your child to serve the people around them. There are various places where people can serve, and each one is vital to the success of this dinner. This year we will be setting up on Friday night beginning at 7:00 and then on Saturday all other helpers must report by 3:00. Please encourage your child to participate in one way or another. The proceeds from this dinner will go toward those participating in the two summer mission trips (West Virginia & Mexico). Help us make a difference in the lives of people, both inside and outside the United States. The meal will be on a donation basis. Invite your friends and neighbors and enjoy the evening together.

"Ambush 2010" – April 17th   (Senior High Only) – It’s our annual day of intense paintball action over in Lancaster. The cost for the day is $50 ($45 if you have your own paintball gun). This cost includes all the necessary equipment and a delicious lunch. A $25 non-refundable deposit is due to Bobby on or before Sunday, March 28th. It’s a great chance for your child to invite some of their friends. We’ll leave the church at 6:00 AM and will get back to the church around 6:00 PM.

"Bowling & Tommy’s, Jr." – May 15th (Junior High Only) – It’s a night of some intense bowling action and then we’ll finish the night off right with some of the area’s best pizza . . . Tommy’s Pizza. We’ll leave the church at 5:00 and will get back around 10:00. We bowl 2 games and then head for Tommy’s. The cost is $15, which covers everything. It’s another great opportunity for your child to invite a couple of their friends.

If you have any questions about these activities or about anything else dealing with your students or with the Youth Ministry, please do not hesitate to call or email Bobby Culler. he would love to talk with you and work with you in helping to make your child into a teenage disciple who makes a difference for Jesus Christ.
