Lots Of Valuable Information
“Fundraiser Opportunity” – Starting on Sunday, January 12th, the students of the Youth Ministry will begin a fundraiser selling Pretzel Sandwiches and Subs. The profit they make on this fundraiser will go directly into their own personal Youth Ministry account. This sale will end on Sunday, January 26th, which is when all the orders and money must be turned into Bobby. Items sold can then be picked up for delivery on Tuesday night, Feb. 4th at the church from 4:00 – 5:00.
“Tubin and Tommy’s” – Super Saturday, January 25th – We’ll be meeting at the church at 4:00 PM and will head for the hills for a couple hours of snow tubing. It costs $35 for two hours of tubing then we’ll come back to the church for some delicious Tommy’s Pizza. You can pick up your child around 9:00. It would be great to have your child with us and for them to invite a couple of their friends. NOTE: Everyone who goes must have a signed Release Form, and parents must sign if the child is under 18 years of age. No one is permitted to go without the signed waiver.
“Winter Slam” - Feb. 7-9th – It’s the annual winter retreat weekend. Completed registration forms and a $25 non-refundable deposit are due to Bobby Culler by January 26th and the balance will then be due on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. The base price for the weekend is $95, and there is an additional cost if you choose to do an outdoor activity at the Hidden Valley Resort on Saturday. This is an awesome weekend for your child to bring their unsaved friends. Encourage them to do just that. We’ll leave on Friday around 4:00 and get back on Sunday around 4:00. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you.
“30 Hour Famine” - Feb. 28-29th - It’s our annual event to raise money for World Vision, an organization that helps to fight hunger around the world. Students will be asked to raise at least $50 in order to participate. Donation packets will be handed out in late January. This event has done great things in the lives of many people around the world. (7:00 Fri. night to Sat. night)
All of these activities and events are super opportunities for your child to invite their friends. It’s a blast just hanging out and having fun together.
